Pegasus picnics are a great time to bond with colleagues and have fun. The monsoons are here and it was time for yet another amusing picnic at Pegasus.

This year, a group of six enthusiastic people across different teams were chosen for organizing the picnic. The organizing team finalized on a 5 star beach resort, interestingly called “The Resort” as the picnic destination and 27th July (Saturday) as the date. The organizers did an excellent execution of all the tasks from informing the people in advance to ensure maximum participation, to getting the people excited by having pre-picnic activities and planning through all the nitty grittes of a Pegasus picnic.

In the week preceding the picnic, the Pegasus InfoCorp family was divided into 4 teams. Each team had a captain and the teams were named - Pirates, Maniacs, Blasters and Zombies. To get everyone going, the organizers had planned on two games before the picnic. The points from these games were also to be carried forward onto picnic day and were to be counted for deciding on the final winner. The first game was called “Pehchan kaun” (Guess who is it!), in which morphed photos of our colleagues were posted and the teams had to guess their names. For the next game each team had to dress up and accessorize themselves in a color chosen by their captain. The most synced up team in their chosen color wins. This game turned out to be surprisingly fun and it was amazing to see how everyone had accessorized themselves with (color) matching belts, shoes, hair clips, umbrellas and what not .The organizers had a tough time choosing the winning teams!

Finally the D day arrived, July the 27th. We were asked to gather at the office at 7 a.m. from where we departed to the resort together. All of us were excited and were looking forward to the activities planned for the day. We reached the resort by 9 a.m. and in sometime a delicious breakfast buffet was served to all. The resort was a huge place with several rooms/suites to stay, overlooking the beach. Soon after having breakfast we headed to the beach where some exciting games had been planned for us. The organizers made us run and hop and jump, it was like going back to the school. Some fell and got bruised. But it was all in the game. The beach was one long stretch and it looked beautiful with the clouds adding to its beauty. One could spend hours strolling by the sea.

Now it was time to wear our swim gears and get into the pool. This was the best time we had in the day with games like basket ball, throw ball etc. After chilling in the pool we had a sumptuous meal. The rest of the day was given for leisure activities. Some were playing table tennis, some were exploring the resort and some guys taking advantage of the wet weather, started a game of football. There was some really good music playing which got some people to hit the dance floor.

And so we come to the climax of our exciting day: The Prize Distribution!!! All the captains were appreciated for their efforts towards their teams. And then the prize for the best team, which surpassed all others in points across different games, was awarded to Zombies. And then we left the resort in the company of beautiful memories.
